KNIGHTDALE

Knightdale is located in eastern Wake County approximately six miles from downtown Raleigh with a population of over 12,000. Its population grew 10.4% from 2010-2012, making it the second-fastest growing community in the Research Triangle region. The population boom in the NC Research Triangle area over the past two decades has made Knightdale part of the metro region and a suburb of Raleigh. With easy access to Research Triangle Park and downtown Raleigh, residents of Knightdale have easy access to major area attractions, but still live in the relative comfort of an attractive small town.
